Suncrest Elementary is proud to once again participate in the Terry Fox School Run and continue Terry’s legacy of courage, determination, and hope.

Wednesday, September 23 at 1:00pm

We are excited to welcome AJ Uthayakumaran, a Terry Fox School Run Ambassador, to Suncrest.

AJ will share Terry Fox’s incredible story along with his own passion for living an active, healthy life and helping others. Through his engaging presentation, AJ will encourage our students to be courageous, compassionate, and determined, just like Terry.

Students will also learn how their participation and fundraising efforts help support important cancer research across Canada.

As Terry said:

“I want to try the impossible.”

Thursday, September 24 from 2:15–2:45 p.m.

Our students and staff will come together as a school community to walk and run in honour of Terry Fox and all those whose lives have been affected by cancer.

This year, Suncrest has set a goal of raising $1,000 for cancer research. We encourage families who are able to support our campaign and help us reach our goal.
