In celebration of Pink Shirt Day we encourage students and staff to wear pink on Wednesday, February 23rd. Pink Shirt Day is a special day when we commit to being kind and inclusive. We ask students to be “upstanders” rather than “bystanders” when they see mean behaviours. Being an upstander means it’s ok to say STOP and then seek adult assistance if the behaviour continues.
Anyone can wear a pink shirt one day a year, but wearing pink represents a commitment to being kind and inclusive everyday in our classrooms and on our playgrounds. Thank you for participating!
Please note that all new student registrations in Burnaby schools start by accessing the online preliminary registration form found HERE. Once you have submitted the necessary documentation, you will be contacted by the school.
