In celebration of Pink Shirt Day we encourage students and staff to wear pink on Wednesday, February 24th. Pink Shirt Day is a special day where we commit to being kind and to stand up to bullying in a positive way. We ask students to be “upstanders” rather than “bystanders” when they see mean behaviour or bullying. Being an upstander means it’s ok to say STOP and then seek adult assistance if the behaviour continues. Anyone can wear a pink shirt one day a year, but wearing pink represents a commitment to being kind everyday in our classrooms and on our playgrounds. Thank you for participating!
